GoToast is an incredible service that is a must have for any serious PPC marketer. I personally used many software packages in an attempt to manage several accounts I was monitoring. After using several of these packages, in an attempt to avoid monthly subscription charges, I finally gave up and went to GoToast. I have now been using GoToast for well over a year now and I have to say I cannot live without it. In fact I went from spending 2 hours a day collectively monitoring my online accounts to spending less than 15 minutes. Due to GoToast’s excellent email reporting all I have to do is review the reports that are sent to me throughout the day. These reports can be sent to multiple email addresses and notify the user of a change of position or bid in all the engines GoToast is managing.

The Best Feature of GoToast

GoToast’s best feature is the fact that since it is a subscription based service it is kept up to date very well. Unlike the standalone software counterpart’s updates occur in real-time on GoToast’s servers. There is no need to download and install any updates. I think this is the most important feature in GoToast because previous software I have used has been very unreliable. It can be very frustrating trying to manage multiple accounts and finding out you can’t connect to one of your Search Engine Accounts due to some change that wasn't’t updated in your software.

Basic Account Management

GoToast features a very robust feature set including the ability to manage your listings by engine, keyword, positions and bids. The system allows users to setup rules to maintain positions as long as they fit certain bid criteria. You also have the ability to set minimum and maximum bids as wells as minimum bid increments. GoToast also eliminates gaps in bidding, where you may be bidding $0.30 and the next lowest competitor is at $0.22, GoToast will automatically change your bid to $0.23, saving you $0.07 per click.

ROI Tracking

GoToast also provides users with the ability to track ROI per term and engine. Although this requires more setup that the standard GoToast features it is well worth the initial setup time. Tracking ROI per term is really the only way to track whether or not your money is being wasted or well invested. By appending the URL’s that you submit to the PPCSE’s with tracking data provided by GoToast and pasting some JavaScript code on your web pages you will now be accurately tracking your click through rates and conversion rates per term.

In closing GoToast is well worth the monthly investment. It does take a few months to build trust in the service, that it is accurately reporting the information and making changes to your bids, but once you see how well it works you will be completely confident in the service they provide. GoToast comes in many different packages depending on what features you want and what engines you want to manage and how often you want your bids updated.
